It is woollen spun yarn with a blend of smooth drapey Blue-Faced Leicester, bouncy froth of Shetland and the guilt-free luxurious recycled silk.Because it is woollen spun, Samite retains the characteristic bounce of Shetland, and is more durable than the standard silk blend, marking it ideal for colourwork, cables and texture.
